The Hospital Broadcasting Association is the national charity that supports and promotes Hospital Broadcasting in the UK. Every year they host their own set of awards to reward the best content ofrom around the country. This year Radio Redhill was shortlisted in two categories, Best Speech Package and Best Special Event.
Chairman Nigel Gray, Station Engineer Ian Wilson and members Katie Child and Diane Wilson attended the awards ceremony in Winchester and were delighted to walk away with two bronze awards. Katie’s series of interviews with the volunteers on Rathlin Island won bronze in the Best Speech Package category. In the Best Special Event category our interviews from the Edenbridge and Oxted Show also won the bronze award.
