The Kangaroo Kid

The Kangaroo Kid

Members of Radio Redhill certainly had a busy August Bank Holiday, as they spent the long weekend at the Edenbridge & Oxted Agricultural Show. Nigel Gray and Jess Miles interviewed stall-holders, competition winners and many more besides, and these interviews were aired on the Sunday Colour Supplement on the 4th September.

Highlights included Nigel’s interview with Chris Agar, of Spring Farm Alpacas, who was on hand to educate us about the differences between llamas and alpacas. Jess also interviewed Norfolk’s very own Lady Mole Catcher, Louise Chapman, who talked about her recent trip to Australia as part of the Dave TV series ‘Deadliest Pests Down Under’. Following the Australian theme, Ian spoke to Aussie Quad bike stunt rider, the Kangaroo Kid, who has been entertaining crowds with his exciting stunt show for around 30 years!

Don’t forget to listen to this week’s Sunday Colour Supplement (Sunday 2pm – 4.30pm), as we’ll have interviews from Radio Redhill’s visit to the Gatwick Aircraft & Motor Show, which took place last weekend. Dave King, Sarah-Jane Vincent and Nigel Gray attended the event, along with Nick Hutchings, Richard Roberts and Cavan Homewood who ran the public address.
