Edenbridge & Oxted Show sunshine!
The Radio Redhill team once again spent their August Bank Holiday down at the Edenbridge & Oxted Agricultural Show! Katie Child, Dave King, Matida Bobo, Ian Wilson, Diane Dann and Nigel Gray toured the show, and were lucky enough to talk to many interesting people. Their recorded interviews were aired on Sunday Colour Supplement and Out And About.
Some of the highlights included Matida’s interview with Simon of Ferret World, who explained the history of ferrets and how they can even be employed to help lay fibre-optic cables! Dave King also spoke to Jim (and Poppy the Goshawk) at the falconry stand, and Katie Child interviewed some young farriers who were preparing to compete at the horse shoe-ing competition.
